BIOGRAPHY

"I have just retired from a career in education. My last post was as an inspector of schools. I'm of Scottish decent but live in England; however, I spend many vacations in the Scottish highlands where the scenery is majestic and rugged - just perfect for landscape photography. It was through landscape that I first got interested in photography, but I quickly learned that my real passion was for people. I want to learn more about portraiture, documentary photography and street photography.

For me, the magic of photography is what it says about the human condition. I use an old Nikon D100 with some good quality lenses. It's a work-horse of a camera, reliable and comfortable to work with."
